The RESET programme is an evidence-based intervention designed to enhance resilience, performance, and well-being. Initially adapted from the Mindful Self-Compassion programme created by Dr. Christopher Germer and Dr. Kristin Neff, RESET empowers individuals to respond adaptively to challenges, boosting both individual and organisational performance. Originally designed for athletes by Dr. Ashley Kuchar, RESET has also been adapted for professionals in organisations who value the wellbeing of their team.
RESET is delivered online over six 1-hour sessions and is available to both groups and individuals.
Acknowledging what has happened and recognising any emotions that come up in a balanced and non-judgmental way. No burying our heads in the sand or running in the opposite direction!
Understanding that challenges and setbacks are a normal part of working or sporting life (whatever level you are at) and that we can always learn something from them.
This is where the good stuff happens and where we often jump to, too early! This is where we learn from setbacks and discover what we can do to improve our performance or our ability to respond rather than react to difficulties.
Here we will look at what you need to feel supported and motivated. You may be able to encourage yourself, or you may be able to turn to your manager, mentor, coach or team to encourage you in those moments when you need it most.
